Fundascientist

Fundascientist.com is a FREE philanthropic site where Funders can find innovative scientists and fund them directly.
Although the National Institutes of Health have a tremendous budget of about 24 Billion, they find it hard to fund innovation young scientists with promising ideas.
The peer review system is set up to review grant applications which come to the NIH. Since the reviewers are members of the medical establishment, it is often difficult for them to accept new ideas which will overthrow the establishment's concepts of reality.
In the past medicine has advanced by overthrowing the old ideas and advancing to a new paradigm. Therefore, it is wise to fund scientists with innovative ideas.
